About this committee
Welcome to Jumanji! Inspired by the iconic adventure film, this crisis committee will place delegates in a dangerous and unpredictable world where survival depends on strategy, cooperation, and quick thinking. No prior knowledge of the movie is required. Everything you need to know will be explained in the background guide.
However, this is not the Jumanji you think you know. In this version of the game, delegates will represent real-world figures from modern pop culture, including famous musicians, influential political leaders, internet personalities, and viral TikTok stars. Each character will enter the game with a unique strength and a specific weakness that shapes how they navigate the challenges ahead.
Just like the game itself, survival will not be easy. The committee will collectively have three lives, and every decision made by any delegate will affect the fate of the entire group. One reckless move, poorly planned action, or failed alliance could cost the committee a life.
Throughout the simulation, delegates will face unexpected crises, dangerous jungle encounters, hidden traps, and rapidly evolving scenarios. Victory will not come from individual success alone. It will require collaboration, negotiation, creativity, and strategic problem-solving.
In Jumanji, every choice matters. If the committee loses all three lives, your characters will remain trapped in the game forever.

Topic A: The Jungle Is Watching: Fame as a Survival Tool
In Jumanji, reputation has become power. The jungle responds to influence, popularity, and public perception, turning fame into a resource that may protect a player or place a target on them. Delegates will manage alliances, public image, misinformation, and competing claims to leadership while confronting the danger of influence falling into the wrong hands.
Topic B: Glitch in the Game: The NPCs Are Taking Over
Jumanji's code is breaking. The game no longer follows its own rules, NPCs are becoming self-aware, and players are beginning to lose control of their abilities. Delegates must decide whether to repair the game, negotiate with its new inhabitants, exploit the glitches, or redefine who deserves control. Each choice may restore order or accelerate the collapse.

Hello, delegates! I am excited to serve as a chair for the Jumanji Crisis Committee and as an Under-Secretary-General for AHPMUN. As a crisis delegate, I know how entertaining, fast-paced, and challenging this format can be.
The American Heritage Model UN team has given me close friends, lasting memories, and stronger debate skills. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends, skiing, rewatching Money Heist, and listening to Lana Del Rey.

Hi everyone! My name is Maria Soy, and I'm a junior at American Heritage. I'm so excited to work as the Co-Chair for the Jumanji Crisis Committee. As someone who has competed in AHPMUN before, it is truly an amazing experience and such a great learning opportunity.
MUN has taught me so much, and I can't wait to see what all of you bring to the committee. Outside of school, I love traveling, hanging out with my friends, and listening to music.
